A LITTLE ABOUT CHASE THORNHILL

Chase Thornhill is a charismatic musician and dedicated educator based in Nashville, Tennessee. His primary mission is to spread his deep love and passion for music and learning to every individual willing to take part—making the musical journey fun, engaging, and accessible for students of all ages and levels.

 

Having moved to the Nashville area after completing his Master of Music in Trombone Performance at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA), Chase is grateful to have built and continue to build a thriving freelance performance career while maintaining a fulfilling teaching schedule across Nashville, Franklin, and Murfreesboro. He provides private lessons to all low brass instruments (trombone, euphonium/baritone, tuba), working with school programs and independent students.

 

Known for his enthusiastic and supportive teaching style, Chase creates an encouraging environment where students build confidence, technical skills, and develop a genuine appreciation for the music-making process. His own performance background and energy on and off the stage make him a relatable and inspiring mentor.

 

Whether performing, teaching, or collaborating in the vibrant Middle Tennessee music scene, Chase continues to pursue his goal of sharing the joy of music with as many people as possible.
