

A LITTLE ABOUT EMILY MUDRA



Emily Mudra is a dynamic trumpeter, versatile multi-instrumental performing artist, educator, and passionate arts advocate based in the Nashville, Tennessee area. Her stylistic versatility spans classical, jazz, rock, funk, orchestral, theatrical, wind ensemble, and marching drum corps settings.
Emily earned a Bachelor of Music in Trumpet Performance from Wichita State University in 2021 and a Master’s in Trumpet Performance from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) in 2023. She has performed with rock and funk bands, orchestras, music theatre, jazz combos, brass quintets, and marched in Drum Corps International (DCI) with the Seattle Cascades in 2019. Her broad experience has sharpened her skills and learning how to adapt across genres.
Guided by her philosophy that there is “no such thing as doing too much” in the arts and that loving what you do comes first, Emily thrives in a multifaceted career. She currently works as a Dance Instructor with Tippi Toes Nashville, Event Captain at the Nashville Zoo, and marching/trumpet tech for high schools in the Nashville/Franklin area.
