A LITTLE ABOUT JOY BAUGHMAN

Joy Baughman is a dynamic lead vocalist known for her powerful, versatile voice and energetic stage presence in Nashville’s vibrant music scene.

Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Joy brings a wealth of experience performing classic rock, big band, jazz-influenced material, and theater. She serves as a lead vocalist with Reflections: Echo Through Time, contributing her strong vocals to the group’s classic big band and dance music repertoire. She also participates in community theater productions (such as her lead role in Mamma Mia!) and frequently guests with other local bands and projects, showcasing her adaptability across multiple genres.

In addition to her big band lead, she is also the lead singer of another band, SemiVinyl, a seasoned Nashville-based band dedicated to faithfully recreating the arena rock anthems of the 1970s and 1980s — from Journey, Styx, Heart, and Kansas to other timeless hits. With SemiVinyl, she delivers high-energy performances that transport audiences back to the golden era of vinyl and FM radio.

Joy’s performances are marked by passion, musicality, and a genuine connection with audiences. A dedicated wife, mother, "Grammy", and musician who lists “God, Family, Music” as her priorities, she continues to be an active and beloved figure in the Nashville music community.
